Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of backend systems for decentralized applications.
- Architect and implement blockchain integrations using Ethereum, Hyperledger Indy, and other protocols.
- Build and maintain secure APIs, microservices, and distributed systems using Node.js.
- Ensure best practices in cryptography, data privacy, and secure communication.
- Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams (ReactJS, React Native) to ensure smooth integration.
- Define and enforce Git branching strategies, version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor backend developers, and uphold high standards of code quality and security.
- Stay current with emerging trends in Web3, distributed systems, and backend architecture.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, RESTful APIs, and backend architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Blockchain (Ethereum, Hyperledger Indy, etc.) and decentralized identity systems.
- Deep understanding of cryptographic principles, secure key management, and data integrity.
- Experience with DHTs, peer-to-peer networking, and distributed storage.
- Familiarity with ReactJS, JavaScript, and Next.js for full-stack collaboration.
- Proven experience in leading backend teams, managing sprints, and delivering production-grade systems.
- Expertise in Git workflows, branching strategies, and release management.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployment (AWS/GCP).
Nice to Have
- Experience with smart contract development and blockchain SDKs.
- Exposure to zero-knowledge proofs, DID, or secure enclave technologies.
- Contributions to open-source blockchain or backend projects.
- Understanding of government-grade security and compliance standards.
